USGA Rootzone

The United States Golf Association (USGA) guidelines for the construction of greens and tees has been the standard in place for the past 40 years. The key elements to the USGA standard refer to sand particle size, and how this might influence the flow of water through to the drainage layer. We use our washed US sand, blended with a sphagnum peat to match the USGA guidelines.
