From a business originally rooted in agriculture, we have adapted and developed over the past 70 years into one of the country's leading suppliers and specialists in the provision of high quality landscaping and sports turf materials. We are a third generation family run business with a focus and dedication to detail that has seen us thrive in the area of specialist soils and growing media.
Although our head office is based in Kent's smallest village, Newenden, our rapid growth has seen us invest in blending facilities across the south-east allowing us to deliver our high quality materials nationwide.
One of the keys to our dedication to the landscaping industry is the continual investment in our haulage fleet. The increasing prominence of deliveries into tight urban spaces coupled with consistently challenging legislation means that our vehicles and drivers are under more scrutiny than ever. Having our own fleet of FORS Gold accredited vehicles allows us the flexibility to respond immediately to challenging projects and give peace of mind to customers working on confined and highly regulated sites.
We work closely with organisations such as BALI and the Landscape Institute to ensure our materials and service are in line with the high demands of our customers and our attention to detail goes someway to making life easier in this increasingly challenging industry.
Jonathan has headed up the sales team for the past 6 years and seen sales almost double in that period. Taking over around the time of the 2012 Olympic project gave him and the team the perfect springboard to launch the full range of Bourne Amenity bespoke soils and substrates. With a keen interest in the technical side of materials, Bourne Amenity is in good hands.

Drew is into his 12th year at Bourne Amenity and is one of our most experienced and high performing salesmen. Managing key accounts across various sectors, Drew has a keen eye for detail, and this coupled with his technical expertise ensures our larger accounts are well serviced.

Cara started with Bourne Amenity back in 2003 and has developed her list of key accounts substantially over the past 15 years. Specialising in the golf and sports industry, Cara looks after her trade and commercial customers with an unrelenting dedication to customer service.
Now in her second spell with Bourne Amenity, Nicky looks after the new business side of sales. She has a wealth of selling experience and is developing key clients in the construction and roof garden market. Through numerous CPD sessions with architects and planners, Nicky has built up her expertise in all things SuDS related, and can satisfy even the most demanding of specification.
Junior Account Manager
Lindsey is the fresh face of our sales team, hailing originally from Georgia, USA. Although Lindsey has only just celebrated her one year anniversary with the company, her enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge has been a real revelation.She is a fast learner and has become a integral member of our growing sales team.
Emma is the heartbeat of the team and handles the extremely demanding job of making sure everything gets where is has to be on time, with little fuss. She has been with the company for almost 7 years and in that time has seen our order book almost double. Her relationships with hauliers and suppliers is integral to the success of the business, along with maintaining a permanently calm exterior.
Jo has made a big impression in the office since joining the company back at the end of 2016. Brought in to help service the ever increasing number of vehicle movements, the team would struggle to operate without her calm head and attention to detail.
Lynn is our solitary employee living in Newenden, and represents the village extremely well. Her attention to detail and high energy levels ensure that the team is kept in check and the kitchen is always rich in home baked cake.
Ake joined the Bourne Amenity team back in 2017 to help increase the companies reach across new media. Ake has extensive experience in the field of marketing and web development and has helped us to launch our new website and become a presence on and off line. The company is now highly active across social media whilst maintaining a presence in print and at the various trade shows.
